General Contest Rules
These General Contest Rules apply to all online contests (“Contest”) that are sponsored and administered by Blair Veenstra PREC* (The House Selling Group) and RE/MAX Camous, unless there are alternate contest rules associated with a particular contest, in which case those alternate contest rules will apply.
Any relevant information regarding a Contest will be identified by Blair Veenstra PREC* and RE/MAX Camosun at the time of the Contest by means of promotional materials, website, or official social media networking pages.
Eligibility:
Contest is open to legal residents of British Columbia who have reached the age of majority at the time of entry. In the event that a Contest is identified as being open to individuals under the age of majority, those individuals who are under the age of majority must have the consent of their parent or legal guardian to participate in the Contest in accordance with these General Contest Rules.
For each Contest, the following individuals are not eligible to enter:
a. Employees, contractors, and representatives of (i) The House Selling Group; (ii) any Contest co-sponsors or prize suppliers as may be identified from The House Selling Group and RE/MAX Camosun; or (iii) any and all other companies associated with the Contest;
b. A household member of any of the individuals listen in (a), above, whether or not related; and
c. Members of the immediate family (spouse, parent, child, sibling) of the individuals listed in (a), above.
Additional eligibility criteria may be stated from time to time. The 30-day rile excludes individuals who have won a contest from Blair Veenstra and RE/MAX Camosun within the preceding 30 days from being selected by Blair Veenstra and RE/MAX Camosun as a potential Contest Winner. The 30-day rule will not apply unless otherwise stated. Blair Veenstra PREC* and RE/MAX Camosun reserve the right to limit one winner per household per contest as determined in its sole discretion.
How to Enter:
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Any applicable entry mechanisms will be identified at the time of a Contest by Blair Veenstra PREC* and RE/MAX Camosun by means of The House Selling Group promotional materials, website, official social networking pages, or representatives. Entry mechanisms may include one or several of the following:
A. Instagram Comment Entry: To enter a Contest by means of this entry mechanism, log into your Instagram account during the applicable entry period, navigate to the Official Contest post, and post a comment that complies with the instructions provided by The House Selling Group and RE/MAX Camosun. Anyone found to use multiple Instagram accounts to enter a Contest will be ineligible.
B. Instagram Follow Entry: To enter a Contest by means of this entry mechanism, log into your Instagram account during the applicable entry period, and follow @hsgvicrealestate. Anyone found to use multiple Instagram accounts to enter a Contest will be ineligible.
C. Facebook Comment Entry: To enter a Contest by means of this entry mechanism, log into your Facebook account during the applicable entry period, visit The House Selling Group at RE/MAX Camosun’s official Facebook page, and follow the instructions provided by The House Selling Group to post content on that page. Anyone found to use multiple Facebook accounts to enter a Contest will be ineligible.
Winner(s) will be chosen by a random draw from among eligible entries received. The odds of winning will depend on the number of entries received. The winner will be sent a direct message and will have twenty-four hours to respond. If no response is received within twenty-four hours, another winner will be chosen. Winning entry will be verified. The winner or list of winners will be displayed on the original contest post.
Facebook and Instagram are in no way associated with this giveaway. If applicable, social media posts (such as but not limited to Instagram Posts) must be PUBLIC to be eligible. A reply to the winning direct message is required within 24 hours before a new winner is chosen. The winners entry will be verified.

Images included in the giveaway post may not depict the exact prize, and are for illustrative purposes only.
Any prize awarded in a Contest is subject to the following conditions:
a. Prize value as advertised or otherwise provided is approximate only. You will not be compensated if actual prize value is lower than any quoted value.
b. The prize may be substituted, in whole or in part, with a prize or prize component cannot be awarded for any reason.
c. The prize must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred, unless otherwise stated by Blair Veenstra PREC* and RE/MAX Camosun. The prize may not be exactly as advertised. The prize is provided “as is” without representation or warranty of any kind of Blair Veenstra PREC* and RE/MAX Camosun.
d. Any unused portion of the prize, once awarded, will be deemed forfeited. The prize will not be replaced if lost, destroyed, mutilated or stolen.
Blair Veenstra PREC* and RE/MAX Camosun may cancel, modify, or suspend any Contest or amend these General Contest Rules for any reason whatsoever. For example, if for any reason a Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, Blair Veenstra PREC* and RE/MAX Camosun may adjust any of the dates, timeframes or other Contest mechanics, or suspend or cancel the Contest.
Blair Veenstra and RE/MAX Camosun reserves the right to publish winner’s first name and last initial.
By participating or attempting to participate in a contest governed by these General Contest Rules (a “Contest”), you will be deemed to have received, understood, and agreed to these General Contest Rules.
